  2. Welcome to Pokemon Perfect, Guest!

Our motto is Pokémon Practice makes Pokémon Perfect. We are a competitive-battling community that encourages the development of players and their ideas, and fosters positive and respectful attitudes. We love Collaboration (working together), Competition (getting stronger), and Communication (being informed).

You are free to post everywhere, unless the thread explicitly states otherwise (usually in the case of a vote), and there are no private forums whatsoever. We just require you to not make multiple accounts. Let us greet you by posting a thread in the Introduce Yourself! forum.

  3. Tiers

View Introduction to Tiers if you don't know what tiers are. Pokémon Perfect tiers are named differently to those on Smogon. A numeral followed by the letter U, e.g. 1U, 2U, 3U, represents a main tier on Pokémon Perfect – the '1' of '1U' representing the tier level. For a tier to be a main tier, it must be balanced (nothing is too powerful and game-breaking) and diverse enough (include a variety of Pokémon and strategies). A numeral followed by the letter P, e.g. 1P, 2P, 3P contain all Pokémon that are deemed overpowered in the respective 1U, 2U, 3U tiers. The 1st tier level allows Pokémon that are banned in the 2nd level, and this process continues down. Read the tier list, and in-depth explanations of the tiers naming system and tiering system. Also check out our analyses for all tiers.

  4. Tournaments

RBY 1U Seasons and its master tournaments are responsible for starting up the community, and tournaments continue to play a big role in maintaining interest in the forums. Signups Open gives you a list of tournaments you can join, and Ongoing lists tournaments that you might want to follow. Additionally, you can tap to find out approximate Schedules for tournaments.

For historical threads, check out Signups Closed, Finished tournaments and Results. We also have Nominations, Voting and Event threads for exhibitions – past and present.

"lost" 0-2 against a fucking idiot that refused to schedule even tho i went out of my way to make a compromise despite lots of personal stress. first game was lost to a hbeam crit that prevented a gamewinning pp stall, second game i lost to a server side timeout, during which i was connected to discord all the time and couldnt even reopen the battle in a second tab. great job sportsman, letting timer run down. fuck brazil i hope you go 0-10, gl getting activity losses in all other tiers. i wont help any of you idiots schedule anymore just because youre too dumb to reply to vms.

e: no need to tell me on discord how easy it was, just the right level of difficulty for your first won game after 2 years on pp.

I undestand that you are mad but you dont need to be angry with the whole team cause of a Pokemon incident and a dq(which can be prevent with the dq policy with the roster I think), I am sorry for you and hope you guys the best with the Glory of the Lord Jesus Christ, Peace

If what he said is true, it´s still not ok to pull the timer and win by in battle activity after being generous with the schedule (plus posssibly not playing in a good form too)
Anyways, don´t want this to morph into a drama.

your whole team is spamming me because they cant schedule. i am not responsible for you idiots not being able to vm my players. and bold call from a player that got subbed in on saturday evening and then messaged me demanding i contact my dpp player asap at a time when you normally sleep in germany.

and also i get it that the result cant be changed anymore, but i dont think you should cite dq policy here. in rby, submitting your teams beforehand is pretty bad, i often change moveslots depending on the playstyle i observe in g1-2. thats only for players that have a bad connection, i did not expect to get booted out by the ps server after being shown a false timer count.

This kind of mentality is terrible. "Drama," like so many words on the internet, is used out of context way too often. Disputing a call or pointing out egregious unsportsmanship is not "drama." Rather, if people are so sensitive and politically correct that they want others to acquiesce to every amount of bullshit thrown at them, then they don't belong here or on the internet.

I don't know much about this situation, but my own personal policy (and one that I believe many others also adhere to) is to always redo a game if it was too close to decide a winner. If it's obvious I was going to win barring bad RNG then I'll demand the win, and vice versa. I don't know if Eternal Spirit was in a winning position or not. If not, then shame on him. If so, then shame on Linkin Karp.

I adapted to the wordings on here. What I actually meant to say was:
No need to add anything more than that, especially things that have nothing to do with the incident/overdoing it
(or whatever one chooses to name it), making things worse than they are and pushing the other (somewhat) involved persons to the next extreme.

And the sportsmanship continues. Nintendi got a timer win against bluri, who was in a winning position. While he claimed not to be able to stop the timer, my players can testify that there were about 8 mods online at that specific time that he could've asked to do it. Congratulations Brazil.
