With all of this said, I can't believe people are actually bothered by these small pixels so much that they want them removed. Is it because Smogon does it (I don't know if they do or not)? If not, what's the reason? They don't hurt anybody and aren't obnoxious. It's almost like people are being punished for having a lot of achievements.

I wondered why people were more engaged in the medal discussion than in the thread "the future of pokemon perfect".

I wasn´t that interested in it before the Thread was abandoned tbh. Just when the vote came, since it is more of a symbolical decision. That being said, I don´t get what use it is to completely remove ladder rewards for a ladder tour, since this is what differs it from other Tournaments, and placing high in it should be equal to be placing high in the K.O. Stage.

It's about tidying up the medal list, about making the level of challenge of acquiring a medal or a number of medals high enough, etc. Also the fact that we have 7 medals (not counting the cup) for an annual tour that doesn't have all that many participants doesn't make much sense.

(will edit some thoughts later, doesn't really matter; basically I think it's unfair if some people get a silver/bronze Medal for finishing 2nd/3rd and some do not while having achieved the same thing [having achieved gold before/after is completely independant from achieving silver at another time]. So imo keep this the way it is or remove silver/bronze Medal completely [not that I want that but at least then it is fair for everyone])
